I just logged in to our WordPress dashboard and realized we haven’t updated the WP installation for ages. I’ve done that to my own website and I guess Jarkko and Konsta have too, but not here. I admit I’ve been lazy. Not just with posting, but with photography too. I moved to Glasgow, Scotland about three weeks ago and I’ve taken maybe 9 (yes, nine) photographs with my DSLR. It changes now as I have start my projects, but I can’t feel but guilty for not giving my camera the attention it deserves. I also realized that while Konsta cheated his photography with skating and Jarkko with illustrations (see their posts somewhere below), I wasn’t really even exploring my options. I kept shooting photos, but with my phone. It’s not a statement and it’s definitely not a technical experiment. It’s just easy, fits-in-your-pocket, purely visual amusement for a guy who needed some time away from photoshop, visual theory, thesis writing and collective photojournalist doomsday prophecies. I’ll behave now.
