Another boom

During the weekend I was taking photos at finnish sport event Kalevan Kisat. On saturday night there broke out a hellish storm and I was witnessing it from my hotel room window. And as did Tatu, I also grabbed the camera. The storm was pretty intense at Kajaani and I got extremely lucky with this photo.
That’s like a cover from some H.P. Lovecraft’s book. The unspeakable horrors of new engl.. Kajaani. I really like the clouds!
Yes, rating high magnitudes in cheesiness. Church, skyline, lightning. Of course this kind of bombastic imaginery is so contaminated that it is really hard to really see the individual image.
I mean that I don’t see this as an actual image. There is no reference to “reality”.
Kind of a silhoutte of Kajaani but in a way not at all. I really liked this photo when I saw it in the paper!
I walked in to your room like minute after you took this and you immediately showed this to me. I could barely breathe for the rest of the night.

Konsta: Olin itsekin aika kovissa täpinöissä tuosta uskomattomasta tuurista. Decisive moment siinä mielessä, etten voinut kuvata pitkällä valotusajalla jalustan puutteen vuoksi.
